Enterprise Apps World @ Cloud Word Forum

enterprise

We’d like to invite you to the Enterprise Apps World, taking place at the Cloud World Forum on 24th & 25th June at Olympia Grand in London.

The inclusion of the extended Enterprise Apps World theatre responds to the research by those such as the Centre for Economics and Business Research showing how the European enterprise cloud app market is set to generate £2.7 billion ($4.2 billion) in revenue, an increase of 206%, by 2018.

Cloud computing is a critical driver in the Enterprise App market’s development and the timely Enterprise Apps theatre discusses and advances market opportunities, and provides necessary insight into cross-device and platform integration, security and BYOD challenges.

You will benefit from learning how enterprises and vendors can move on from ad hoc deployment of employee and customer facing applications, to implementing a strong enterprise mobility strategy to manage the cost and reap the operational benefits of traditional enterprise mobility solutions.

  • Fin Goulding, CIO, Paddy Power
  • Imran Younis, Global Head of UX, LateRooms.com

The transformation of IT by Cloud Computing happens right here, year on year – join us in June 2014 for shaping a future powered by the Cloud!

Apps & the Cloud powering the Enterprise of the future

The proliferation of mobile devices, apps and the advent of Cloud Computing are transforming the workplace, reducing IT costs and enabling business growth. Enterprise mobility has been one of the hottest business trends in 2013; now according to the latest research*, 2014 is predicted to be the year of mobile enterprise apps.

The 6th annual Cloud World Forum has a long tradition of offering comprehensive coverage of mobility, security, and IT strategy in a Cloud context. To further our reach in the mobile space, we are delighted to announce the launch of a new co-located event for 2014, Enterprise Apps World.

enterprise appsFollowing on from Informa’s acquisition of market-leading Apps World Europe, attracting over 8,000 attendees and 250 exhibitors in October 2013, Enterprise Apps World is a natural standalone event from this series and is the only dedicated enterprise event for going Mobile, from BYOD to building an enterprise apps store.  The building of enterprise apps stores is increasingly a focus for businesses and with the challenge of building enterprise applications that work cohesively across such a range of varying devices, environments and operating systems, Enterprise Apps World is a unique event to help make sense of it all.

Enterprise Apps World emulates the successful formula of its parent show Apps World and mirrors the format of Cloud World Forum. There will be a free track focussed on app developer issues and a paid track focussing on enterprise mobility examining the challenges that both face and outlining solutions that enterprise owners can adopt.  The workshop tracks will sit alongside a free to attend exhibition which will showcase the latest in the enterprise apps ecosystem as well as giving new businesses and indie enterprise apps developers a chance to exhibit for free from bar stool table top stands in a dedicated start-up area at the show.

Enterprise Apps World will also include Hackfest, a dedicated enterprise apps hackathon that will see developers and coders hacking for fun and prizes, fulfilling briefs set by sponsors keen to spot the hottest new talent at work in the industry.

The two shows uniquely bring together the complete ecosystem of ‘mobile’ IT; from CIOs working on Cloud architectures to Developers building workplace apps and how to host apps in the cloud.

“Whilst 2013 was about the device for enterprise users and CIOs alike, 2014 promises to be all about the content. It’s a truly exciting time for enterprise IT, and Enterprise Apps World will be at the forefront of this curve,” commented Carolyn Dawson…

With 12 theatres, 200 exhibitors, over 250 sessions and 300 speakers, the co-location of Cloud World Forum, Big Data Congress and Enterprise Apps World jointly offer unrivalled learning and access to the forefront of Enterprise IT technology.

Join us across the two expo floors of Olympia National Hall on 17-18th June 2014 at Cloud World Forum, Big Data Congress and Enterprise Apps World to learn and forge synergies for powering the Enterprise of the future!
